Chenier Plain Coastal Restoration & Protection Authority & COmmunity FOUNDATION of Acadiana team up!

The Chenier Plain Coastal Restoration and Protection Authority (CPCRPA) has partnered with a credible community leader, Community Foundation of Acadiana (CFA), and established the Chenier Plain Coastal Restoration & Protection Authority Fund.  This fund will attract private, tax-deductible dollars for the administration and mission of the Authority throughout Calcasieu, Cameron and Vermilion parishes.

​CFA is a tax-exempt, donor-centric, entrepreneurial foundation whose business is to benefit our communities, region and state through philanthropy.  CFA’s service provision is three-fold: (1) stewardship of charitable resources; (2) expert services and (3) trusted civic leadership.  Established in 2000, CFA has cumulatively attracted over $128 million in gifts and over $68 million in grants.  Nationally recognized, CFA’s partners can include individuals, families, groups, corporations, other foundations and nonprofits, as well as federal, state and local governments.  CFA is a perfect regional partner to assist CPCRPA in reaching its goals.
